SUB-CONTRACT FOR MATERIALS LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES
T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER
Tenders are invited for the provision of Materials Laboratory Testing Services for the Material and Pavement investigation of the Strengthening of National Route R411 Section 1 From N2 I/C (KM0.00) To Coffee Bay (KM75.40). This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in terms of the initial programme, the field-testing services must be completed by 15 December 2026.
Tenders are requested from SANAS Accredited Materials Testing Laboratories (ISO 17025) to carry out materials investigations.
Only bidders with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1 or 2 are eligible to tender.
Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1: Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender within seven (7) days from the tender advertisement date, 25th September 2026 to charlene@nme.co.za. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive.
No compulsory tenderer’s clarification meeting will be held.
COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS
The closing time and date for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday, 9th October 2026
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted
Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued and submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
