GINGORDIN METHODS TRADING invites experienced EME and QSE Service Provider to a tender briefing session for Subcontract R.062-070-2024/1SEC-SP2: Security Services under Contract SANRAL R.062-070-2024/1 the SPECIAL MAINTANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTE R62 SECTION 7 (KM 0,0) TO (KM 42,5) BETWEEN JOUBERTINA AND KAREEDOUW, on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of the Eastern Cape and in the district municipality of Sarah Baartman.


Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Kou-Kamma Local Municipality. No CIDB contractor grading designation is required for this work. This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion and the price and preference points system. Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:


a) Registered with the Companies Intellectual and Property Commissions (CIPC)
b) Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
c) Registered under the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBB-EE)
d) Armed Response Security registered as Grade C under the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).


Sub-contractors are required for the following subcontracts:
1. 062-070-2024/1SEC-SP2
1 x Provision of Security Services


Note to Tenderers:
a) GINGORDIN METHODS TRADING will reserve the right to negotiate feasible rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.
b)Tenderers may submit tenders for all sub-contracts in this Tender Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract will be let per preferred Tenderer at any one time for this project.

A compulsory information briefing meeting, will take place at Gingordin Methods Trading Site Office, DIE STOOR, Melkhoutkraal, R62, Kareedouw, Kou-Kamma Municipality. The coordinates of the Site Office are as follows: Latitude 33°56'56.56"S and Longitude 24°16'40.33"E on Monday, 17 August 2026 at 09:00 am where prospective Tenderers shall meet the Contractor.


Tender documents will be available from 17 August 2026, 09h00 to 16h00 Monday to Friday, at Gingordin Methods Trading Site Office, DIE STOOR, Melkhoutkraal, R62, Kareedouw, Kou-Kamma Municipality. Only the documents within the “Returnable Schedules” with supporting documents attached should be submitted.


Tenderers must be represented at the information briefing meeting by a representative who must be the Tenderer himself or an authorized person in the direct employment of the Tenderer.


Late arrivals to the compulsory information briefing meeting will not be allowed access and therefore will not be allowed to submit a tender. Such tenders received, shall be deemed non-responsive.


The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:


Sub-Contract: R.062-070-2024/1SEC-SP2 for SECURITY SERVICES and shall be delivered by hand to Gingordin Methods Trading Site Office, DIE STOOR, Melkhoutkraal, R62, Kareedouw, Kou-Kamma Local Municipality.

The Tender Documentation for all packages in this Tender Notice shall reach the stipulated address no later than :09:00 am on 15 September 2026.
