TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

CONTRACT SANRAL N.001-160-2025/2R

FOR THE UPGRADE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 1 SECTION 16 FROM ZANDKRAAL (KM 33.8) TO SCOTTLAND (KM 55.7)

Botong Civils (Pty) Ltd invites tenders from EME/QSE Subcontractors and experienced Service Providers for the abovementioned Contract endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of Free State in the Masilonyana Local Municipality, Lejweleputswa District Municipality.

Subcontractors and Service Providers Tenders are required for the following:

TENDER BRIEFING

Compulsory tender clarification briefing sessions with representatives of the Contractor and Engineer will take place at Kaps Community Hall, Tshepong, Verkeerdevlei, GPS Coordinates: 28.84178, 26.75753 on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 between 10h00 and 12h30. Tenders from Tenderers who arrive late at the clarification briefing session will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing session.

ELIGIBILITY

Only those tenderers who satisfy following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

• Tenderers who submit a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (where applicable) in compliance with the requirements of Tender Data C.3.11., as proof of eligibility.

· An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people.

FUNCTIONALITY

• CIDB TENDERS - Points for functionality will be awarded based on Locality, CIDB Grading and Designated group as per clause C3.11
• NON-CIDB TENDERS - Points for functionality will be awarded based on Locality, Experience and Designated group as per clause C3.11

Prospective tenderers may send a request for a link to the document to the following address N1fstenders@botong.co.za with the tenderers name and contact information included in the email from Monday to Friday (09h00 to 16h00), commencing Tuesday, 21 July 2026 up until Monday,17 August 2026. Tenderers must have access to Microsoft Office
