TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER (Incorporating SBD1)

Bona Electronic Solutions (Pty) Ltd appointed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (“SANRAL”) for the THE EASTERN CAPE INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM (ITS) -

DESIGN, BUILD, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN contract invites tenders for the sub-service of the installation of an incident monitoring system along the N10 – Olifantskop pass (CONTRACT SANRAL X.003-023-2018/1/SP2 AND X.003-055-2020/1/SP2).

Only service providers who can demonstrate credit and financial viability will be considered for appointment.

Only tenderers with a B-BBEE contributor status level of 1, 2, 3 or 4 are eligible to tender. Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

Tender documents are available at no cost in electronic format downloadable from the SANRAL website by the following link https://www.nra.co.za/service-provider-zone/tenders/open-tender/. Tenderers must have access to MS Office ©2013 and Acrobat Adobe ©9.0, or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, a request to attend the compulsory briefing session before 11:00 on 23 July 2026 to jan@itsglobal.co.za. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tender being non-responsive.

TENDERER’S MEETING

A compulsory clarification briefing meeting will be held online (Microsoft Teams) on 24 July 2026, starting at 11:00, where the required work scope will be presented. Tenderers send an email requesting to attend before 11:00 on 23 July 2026 to jan@itsglobal.co.za will be sent the meeting invite link.

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing meeting.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on the 7^th of August 2026.

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted in the format as stated in the Tender Data.
