FOR THE UPGRADE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 1 SECTION 16 FROM ZANDKRAAL (KM 33.8) TO SCOTTLAND (KM 55.7)
Botong Civils (Pty) Ltd invites tenders from experienced EME/QSE Service Providers for the abovementioned Contract endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of Free State in the Masilonyana Local Municipality, Lejweleputswa District Municipality.

Compulsory tender clarification briefing sessions with representatives of the Contractor and Engineer will take place at Makeleketla Community Hall, Makeleketla, Winburg, GPS Coordinates: -28.53.18,4(S); 27.00.18,9(E) on Monday, 20 July 2026 at 11h00. Tenders from tenderers who arrived late at the clarification briefing session will not be allowed, and their submissions shall be declared non-responsive. A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the clarification briefing session.
Only those tenderers who satisfy following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:
Points for functionality will be awarded based on Locality, Experience and Designated group as per clause C3.11

Printing out of the electronic document in Hardcopy will be the tenderers responsibility, as the completed document must be submitted in hardcopy.
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00am on 11 August 2026.

Tenders should be submitted in a neatly bond file and in a sealed envelope clearly marked tender and bearing the tender name, physical and contact number and the tender number
