TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

Roadspan Surfaces (PTY) LTD invites EME and QSE sub-contractors to a tender briefing session for sub-contract part of the NRA 2024/1325 (N.007-078-2023/1) For The Periodic Maintenance (Resurfacing) On National Route 7 Section 7 And 8 From Arakoop (Km 65.70) To Brakfontein (Km 7.80) on behalf of the South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the province of the Northern Cape and in the Namakwa district municipalities and Nama Khoi local municipality.

Preferences are offered to prospective tenderers from the targeted area, namely the Nama Khoi Local Municipality and Namakwa District Municipality, and within the boundaries of Northern Cape. This tender will be evaluated in terms of functionality as a criterion, and the price and preference point system. Tenderers who satisfy the following criteria are eligible to submit tenders:

a. Proof that the Tenderer is registered on National Treasury’s CSD

b. Proof that the Tenderer is registered with the CIPC.

c. The Tenderer’s B-BBEE contributor level; and

d. Proof that the Tenderer is an EME or a QSE.

e. Proof that the Tenderer falls within one or more of the designated groups as per the Specification Data

 

Sub-contractors are required for the following subcontracts:

  1. Package 3

1 x Supply and Transport of Diesel

Note to Tenderers:

    1. Roadspan Surfaces (PTY) LTD will reserve the right to negotiate reasonable rates with the preferred tenderers if necessary.
    2. Tenderers may submit tenders for all sub-contracts in this Tender Notice, but only 1 (one) subcontract will be awarded per preferred Tenderer at any one time for this project.
    3. Tenderers to supply all the required documentation at closing date.

A compulsory tender information briefing session will take place at No.2 Uitspan Street, Springbok, Northern Cape, 8240 coordinates (-29.660449, 17.885395) on Thursday, 9 April 2026 at 11h00 where prospective tenderers can meet with the contractor. Tender documents will be made available in a hard copy, Share drive and USB flash drive at the briefing session.

The tender and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked:

“S2024/1325/3 Supply of Diesel” and bearing the tenderer’s name, physical address and contact number, shall be delivered to No.2 Uitspan Street, Springbok, Northern Cape, 8240 coordinates (-29.660449, 17.885395) between the hours 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.

Note: Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile or electronic applications will not be accepted.

The Tender Documentation for this Package in this Tender Notice shall reach the stipulated address no later than 15:00 on Friday the 17th of April 2026.
