T1.1 TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER INVITATION

SNA Civil and Structural Engineers (Pty) Ltd, on behalf of The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL), invites tenders for the provision of full-time site surveyor services pertaining to the Upgrade of National Route R61 Section 6 from All Saints to Section 7 Baziya: Phase 2Section 6 from km 68.5 to km 86.65. The location of the survey is in the Province of the Eastern Cape, in the Chris Hani District Municipality, in the Dr A B Xuma (previously Ngcobo) Local Municipality.

Tenders are hereby invited from Survey Organisations:
a) Of whom one Director/Partner is suitably registered in terms of The Geomatics Profession Act no. 19 of 2013 (Refer to TMH11 Draft Version 3, Clause 1.18, for registration requirements),
b) That are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD),
c) Who have a minimum B-BBEE level of 4, and
d) Who qualify as an EME or QSE in terms of Act 5 of 2000 (PPPFA) and its latest regulations.

A tenderer that fails to meet any of the criteria stipulated above shall be disqualified.

Approximate programme of the project

Full time site survey quality control services are required throughout the remaining construction period of 36 months, which commenced in August 2025. The terms of reference with regards to the survey service on site shall be based on the requirements as set out in Chapter 10 of Technical Methods for Highways, TMH11, Standard Survey Methods, Draft version 3.0, April 2017, South African Committee of Transport Officials.
