UNDER CONTRACT SANRAL N.007-030-2021/1

FOR THE PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (RESURFACING) ON NATIONAL ROUTE 7 SECTION 3 FROM CITRUSDAL (KM 75.30) TO CEDERBERG INTERSECTION (KM 102.52).

T1.1 TENDER CANCELLATION NOTICE

In accordance with regulation 13 of the Preferential Procurement Regulation 2017, which states:

1. An organ of state may, before the award of a tender, cancel a tender invitation if:
   1. Due to changed circumstances, there is no longer a need for the goods or services specified in the invitation.
   2. Funds are no longer available to cover the total envisaged expenditure:
   3. No acceptable tender received; or

(d) There is a material irregularity in the tender process.

2. The decision to cancel a tender a tender invitation in terms of sub regulation 1 must be published in the same way the original tender invitation was advertised.

3. An organ of state may only with the prior approval of the relevant treasury cancel a tender invitation for the second time.

In this regard, ROADSPAN SURFACES (PTY) LTD wishes to inform the public that the Tender for Road Marking that was published on the 22^nd of May 2025 with a closing date and time of 19 June 2025 at 11:00 is hereby cancelled and will be re-advertised in due course. The cancellation is due to material irregularity in the tender process.
