The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) on behalf of Royal Mndawe Holdings (Pty) Ltd (T/A ROMH Consulting) invites Joint Ventures between suitably experienced, SANAS accredited laboratories and Targeted Partners for the undertaking of the site laboratory sub-services in accordance with SANS 3001 for the materials investigation for the upgrade from gravel to surfaced on National Route 380 Section 2 from Santoy (km 8.40) to Mccarthy’s rest (km 118.46). This project is in the province of Northern Cape and in the district municipality of John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality and the approximate duration is 4 months, commencing July 2025.

 

Preferences are offered to tenderers who comply with the criteria stated in the Tender Data. The tenderers will be evaluated on functionality (quality) criteria with a threshold of 80%.

Only tenderers who are registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database as stated in the Tender Data C.2.1.1, are eligible to tender.

 

It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderer subcontract a minimum of 30 percent (30 %) or higher as tendered of the work by the end of the contract to Targeted Enterprise(s) as defined in the Contract Data.

Tender documents are available from Friday, 13 June 2025 at no cost in electronic format downloadable from  the  SANRAL’s  website  by  following  the  link: https://sanralesdd.co.za/tender/1309 Tenderers must have access to Microsoft © Office 2013 and Acrobat Adobe © 9.0 or similar compatible software.

Tenderers must submit, via email, the duly completed Form A1.1 Certificate of Intention to Submit a Tender prior to Friday, 13 June 2025. Failure to submit this certificate would result in the tenderer not receiving addenda or additional issued information and may result in the tenderer being non-responsive, if “any material amendment/s” contained in the addenda or additional information is not included in the tender offer/submission.

A tenderer’s representative cannot represent more than one tenderer at the tender briefing meeting.

COMPLETION AND DELIVERY OF TENDERS

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11:00 on Friday, 04 July 2025
